Is it just me or have several Pioneer Nollywood actors and actresses have just disappears from our screens. One second, their faces are splashed on every movie poster, every CD cover and the next they are gone without a trace. Where are they now? what are they up to?

Emeka Ike

Nollywood famous lover boy was on every love movie cover. Emeka Ike was popular for acting alongside Genevive Nnaji, Rita Dominic and Stella Damasus. He suddenly disappeared from our screens. From being one of the most sought after actor, Emeka Ike has been in the news lately on stories ranging from his N200m School project in Lagos to his Marital issues which are still hanging as rumours. Emeka Ike featured in movies like 'Right Man For Me', Two Become One', Passion & Pain', 'Not Man Enough' and lots of other movies. He is however still remembered as Nollywood’s foremost “Lover Boy”

                                             Hanks Anuku

Think about an action movie with gangsterism , think about Hanks Anuku. During his days of fame, he was every producer's perfect 'Bad Boy Choice', but, like the Dinosaur, Hanks went into extinction. We miss seeing him on our screens and hearing his baritone voice. Some of Hanks movies are 'Wanted Alive', My Choice', Desperadoes', My Love', Unfaithful and so many others.News has it that Hanks Anuku has finally found solace in Ghana, where he now lives. The lanky actor, as we learnt, now stays in Accra, the capital city of the country.
Hanks was on ground in Ghana to welcome Nollywood stars who were in the ‘Gold Coast’ country for a football match with their Ghanaian counterpart.
Hanks was reportedly delivered by Prophet TB Joshua from drugs and alcohol years ago and thereafter went into oblivion. We learnt that he is now into talent discovery in Ghana.

                                          GENEVIEVE NNAJI

The delectable Genevieve Nnaji started her acting career as a child actress in the then-popular television soap opera "Ripples" at the age of 8. She was also featured in several commercials, some of which included Pronto beverage and Omo detergent. In 1998, at the age of 19, she made her debut in the growing Nigerian film industry with the movie "Most Wanted." she has since featured in uncountable successful movies within and without the shores of Nigeria and Nollywood. however, the black beauty has disappeared from our movie screens and her fans are starved of strong delivery on screen.

STELLA DAMASUS

The Edo state born actress and a theater Arts graduate  started her career as a singer in Lagos where she used to work as a studio session singer, she made her debut in 1992 in "Abused" and became the queen of the Nigerian movie Industry. The soft spoken Actress got married to her third husband Daniel Ademinokan about three years ago and relocated to the States with her family leaving a huge vacum on our screens. she has however become more involved on several campaigns on line for the rights of the Girl Child and lots more...buuuuh, we still prefer her behind the camera doing what sge does perfectly well.
