Think about an action movie with gangsterism , think about Hanks Anuku. During his days of fame, he was every producer's perfect 'Bad Boy Choice', but, like the Dinosaur, Hanks went into extinction. We miss seeing him on our screens and hearing his baritone voice. Some of Hanks movies are 'Wanted Alive', My Choice', Desperadoes', My Love', Unfaithful and so many others.News has it that Hanks Anuku has finally found solace in Ghana, where he now lives. The lanky actor, as we learnt, now stays in Accra, the capital city of the country.
Hanks was on ground in Ghana to welcome Nollywood stars who were in the ‘Gold Coast’ country for a football match with their Ghanaian counterpart.
Hanks was reportedly delivered by Prophet TB Joshua from drugs and alcohol years ago and thereafter went into oblivion. We learnt that he is now into talent discovery in Ghana.

The delectable Genevieve Nnaji started her acting career as a child actress in the then-popular television soap opera "Ripples" at the age of 8. She was also featured in several commercials, some of which included Pronto beverage and Omo detergent. In 1998, at the age of 19, she made her debut in the growing Nigerian film industry with the movie "Most Wanted." she has since featured in uncountable successful movies within and without the shores of Nigeria and Nollywood. however, the black beauty has disappeared from our movie screens and her fans are starved of strong delivery on screen.

STELLA DAMASUS

The Edo state born actress and a theater Arts graduate  started her career as a singer in Lagos where she used to work as a studio session singer, she made her debut in 1992 in "Abused" and became the queen of the Nigerian movie Industry. The soft spoken Actress got married to her third husband Daniel Ademinokan about three years ago and relocated to the States with her family leaving a huge vacum on our screens. she has however become more involved on several campaigns on line for the rights of the Girl Child and lots more...buuuuh, we still prefer her behind the camera doing what sge does perfectly well.

DO I SPONSOR MY WEDDING?....I need advise..

"I am saving for my Wedding" that was the statement I made to my Aunty and her friends when they asked me what I do with my salary and the outburst was unbelievable, my Aunty almost had my head, "save for your wedding?, what is the man doing?, if he cannot foot the bill of your wedding then he is not ready for marriage".

I am freshly out of school, done serving my country and began working with a consulting firm. my pay is reasonable. I got engaged in my final year, Giwa is a hard working man and he has been trying to muscle up his resources so we can get married. He hasn't asked me for money but i can see that he is struggling with moving up on our wedding plans because of paucity of funds.

My Aunty is the voice of my family and i know that once she expresses her stand to my parents it will become gospel.

Correct me if am wrong here, my idea of a couple is their readiness to support one another and this begins from our wedding. it is this mentality that led me to believe that there is nothing wrong with saving for my wedding, please I need advise on this.

Am I wrong to think this way? should I wait until my Fiancee can bear the cost of the wedding? my thinking is that its my wedding so i need to sponsor a good portion of it after all, as the saying goes, "the wedding is the bride's affair" or isn't it?.

I am not growing any younger and I love my man so much I am ready to sacrifice what I have to support our wedding so we can be together finally but how do I convince my Aunty to give her support without her insisting that Giwa must as a matter of compulsion single highhandedly finance our wedding.....I really need advise..

The News of the Nigerian Afro pop star, D’Banj getting hitched even though has been making the rounds in the industry was only a rumor up ntil now as the Koko Master himself finally revealed that indeed, he is married to his long time Girlfriend Lineo Didi Kilgrow. CELEBRATED CELEBRITY MARRIAGES

We are proud to say that there are indeed marriages that are worth raising our glasses to. They are marriages that have survived the unpredictable world of showbiz.

A few celebrity couples whose marriages have tarried and are still so much on fire. Take a look, you’ll be amazed.  OLU JACOBS AND JOKE SILVA: One of the marriages of entertainment personalities that have become enviable in Nigeria today is sure that of Olu Jacob and his wife Joke Silva. Olu Jacobs, a veteran actor and his wife, also an actress of repute, have a large followership and have been able to build a nearly perfect union that is worthy of emulation because the union, unlike some, has been scandal free and very wonderful. The marriage, however, may have passed through test of time; it has been in place for well over TWENTY FIVE YEARS years with children.

 PATRICK AND IRETI DOYLE

Patrick was once married before his wife passed on. He later got hooked to Ireti, whom many refer to as a talented actress. They dated for a while and both got married. The couple is blessed with six children, four from Pat's earlier marriage and they confessed to Spectator that love and tolerance have been the backbone of the union. Despite the glamour and stardom, they are still very much down to earth and committed to each other. They have BEEN MARRIED 17 YEARS

CHARLES AND DIANE OPUTA
CHARLES AND DIANE OPUTA: The weird duo. Charly Boy and Lady Di, like they are widely known, met in America. CB had gone to a salon (Dany) where Diane used to work to have a treat and immediately he set eyes on the black American, his system was completely disorganized. To break down her defense, he lied to her that he would invite her his birthday a party.
True to his promise, and with the co-operation of Diane’s boss, he sent a Limousine to bring her to the party venue – which turned out to be his house. Mesmerized and dazzled, Lady Di had no choice than to cave in. They eventually formalized their union in a registry in Owerri, Imo State and have been having a blast ever since. Blessed with four children, Diane was born in South Carolina, USA and CB, Oguta, Imo State. She studied Men’s Tailoring while he read Mass Communication.

OMOTOLA AND

CAPTAIN MATHEW
This marriage is the contemporary version of that of Olu and Joke Jacob. They have been together for about 15 years and still waxing stronger. Omotola got married to pilot husband, Captain Matthew at the tender age of 18 on a plane and the marriage has been in flying colours ever since. Capt. Matthew is not an actor, but one thing he has going for him is his looks and charm. We can authoritatively report that the handsome dude is more popular than his showbiz wife in their neighborhood. Aside love, maturity and compromise are the reasons Omotola gave for the union today. Despite over a decade of being married, they both still show affections to each other as 18-years-olds do.

RMD AND JUMOBI
RICHARD AND JUMOBI DAMIJO: They met in the line of duty. Africa Independent Television, the media outfit where she used to work was having an event, which RMD was invited to. And because both of them couldn’t take their eyes off each other, they knew the only reason for that must be love. Married since 1999, and blessed with two children (Tega and Mena), the husband now functions as the Commissioner for Culture, Delta State and the wife, a staff of Airtel THEY HAVE BEEN MARRIED 18 YEARS

SONI AND BETTY IRABOR
For as long as this media couple lives, they will always remember the Elegant Stallion, OnyekaOnwenu. And this is why: Betty, then a greenhorn, had attended her first ever assignment in July 1982 – Onyeka’s debut album launch, where incidentally both them met. And a relationship was ignited, followed by marriage. An English and Philosophy graduate of the University of Lagos, Betty, 54, currently publishes Genevieve. Blessed with two children (Sonia and Omoruyi), her better half, Soni, is a veteran broadcaster, but engages more in media consultancy now. Their marriage is now 34 years.

TUNDE AND WUNMI
 OBE
If there is a family that should have overdose pressure due to their celebrity status, it should be the family of Tunde and WunmiObe. This is simply because they belong to two constituencies-they sing and act. And to make matters worse, Tunde appears on TV alongside Charly Boy to present Zoom Time. Tunde once told us of how a set of beauty beefy stormed his hotel room when he had an assignment outside Lagos. He had to run away and call his wife. Such were the temptations the father of four. The couple is still together and Wunmi, who took part in AmakaIgwe's soap recently, has had her own fair share of challenges, but they have chosen the path of 'no divorce'.

ISAAC AND NNEKA MOSES: The Goge Africa presenters. Nneka and Isaac have a sweet love story. In Love in Vendetta, a movie they took part in in, 1996, they undertook the roles of husband and wife. And having executed it with so much ease and also ascertaining that they could become one just like they did in the movie, they decided to do in real life, after a one year courtship.Always together, the Anambra indigenes who the Almighty God will soon bless with their first child – after over ten years of marriage – surely have an interesting and at the same time intriguing story. Their wedding was on October25, 1997.THEY HAVE BEEN MARRIED 20 YEARS
